- Hi All!
-
- I have a Picasso II in my 2500. I just bought a Commodore flicker fixer to
- route the 15Khz stuff to the picasso to pass through to a Gateway monitor (14" or 15")
- It works pretty nicely, except... when viewing something that is in NTSC HIRES
- (and I think HIRES-Laced), in other words, some output from the flicker-fixer,
- I notice, especially on dark screens, a vertical line which is a shade off from the
- background color. It is perceptable when your screen is mostly blank, and the
- vertical line will shift and bend when using the horizontal controls on the monitor.
- This does not happen with the video that is driven by the Picasso drivers, only
- the NTSC video going through the flicker fixer to the monitor via Picasso.
- Anyone experience this problem? Ideas? You think the flicker-fixer is bad or
- just an incompatability with the picasso II? I mean it's not a big deal... the
- vertical line IS noticable, but not to the point that I can't deal.
-
- Thanks!
